Benjamin Kelly

Ben Kelly is originally from El Paso, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at El Paso in 2003, cum laude, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law in May 2006, receiving full scholarships as an undergraduate and law student. During his third year of law school, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Review of Law & Politics, overseeing publication of Volume 10 of the Review.

Ben is currently an Associate in the Dallas office of Sidley Austin LLP. He specializes in intellectual property law issues, particularly patent litigation in the semiconductor, electronics, telecommunications, software and Internet applications, and optics fields.
