Douglas Wilson

Mr. Wilson received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law in May 2002, with honors, and was selected for membership in the Order of the Coif honor society. He received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Lamar University in 1995, summa cum laude. Mr. Wilson worked for four years with Fina Oil and Chemical Company's Port Arthur Refinery as a project and process engineer prior to attending law school.

Mr. Wilson received several scholarships as an undergraduate and graduate, including the Presidential Scholarship in Law. He was in the top ten percent of his law school class. He was also Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Review of Law & Politics. Mr. Wilson was offered and has accepted a clerkship with Judge Richard Linn of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C.. Mr. Wilson also co-authored an article with Mr. Heim entitled Patent Validity Opinions: The Last Bastion of Defense, which was published in the August 2002 issue of IP Litigator. Mr. Wilson’s latest publication was Neutrality and Evolution in Public Schools in the Spring 2003 issue of the Review.

Mr. Wilson is currently an Associate at the firm of Conley Rose, PC, in Houston, Texas. He specializes in litigation and patent prosecution in the chemical, chemical engineering, and mechanical arts.
