Gary Thompson

Gary is president and co-founder of Texas eComm, a business association and technology executive network, representing the leaders of the Digital Economy throughout Texas. Prior to founding Texas eComm, Gary worked for 10 years in sales and marketing with Apple Computer. He earned his B.A. from Northwestern University, Masters of Management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.

Gary was appointed by former Governor George W. Bush to serve on the state’s eGovernment Task Force and serves as an appointee of Governor Perry on the Texas Online Authority. Gary also is a member of the advisory committee for the State Strategic Plan for Information Resources Management, Northwestern University’s Board of Trustees IT Oversight Committee, and the University of Texas MIS Steering Committee.
